At The Cheese Collective we make and curate natural and artisanal cheeses from India and abroad. Alongside offering cheese boards, grazing tables, customizable gift baskets, the emphasize is also on cheese education, through workshops and tastings that explore the types of cheese and different pairings. Founded by Mansi Jasani, The Cheese Collective is all about cheese, and the ideas and items that go with it.
Mansi Jasani also known as Cheesewali is a cheesemaker, cheesemonger, international cheese judge and founder of The Cheese Collective, Bombay. Her cheese journey began in 2011 at Murray's Cheese, New York and since then she has been constantly eating and learning about cheese and mongering through her experiences at cheese conferences, festivals and events in the US, Italy, Spain, UK, Norway, Portugal & France. Her experience ranges from making and curating and selling cheese and boards to teaching workshops and co-authoring a chapter on India in The Oxford Companion to Cheese. She is also the first and only ever Indian Judge and Super Jury at the World Cheese Awards which took place in Spain in 2021, Wales 2022, Norway 2023 & Portugal 2024. Mansi is also the founding member of the Artisanal Cheese Society of India and the the first Indian to be inducted into the Guilde des Fromagers which is an International Cheese Guild with French origins.
What she loves the most is to share the story of cheese and find the next unique pairing.
